Our Inspire sessions are aimed at those who would like to improve their garden and are looking for practical, friendly advice that can be actioned in their outdoor spaces.

Our designers are available for a 45 minute session which can be booked via our website, and is guided by the client. The session can include questions for our designers about plants, materiality, pots and planters, or it can be a sharing of any concepts and ideas that you may want to run through with an expert.

The 45 minute session is then condensed into a helpful and succinct dossier that includes tailored advice and a re-cap of the session that the client can take away and help them to action in their garden.

If you’re looking to refresh or transform your outdoor space, but aren’t sure where to start, then this consultation could be for you! An initial 45 minute chat with a designer can answer any questions you may have been pondering, as well as aiming to give you new ideas and inspiration.

Overall, the Inspire consultation is a great starting point for the journey, whether you’re looking to do the work yourself, or get professionals involved when the time is right.

You will speak to one of our expert designers – each one of them has experience of not only working within the Dig team, but also within the wider field of garden design across a wide range of projects.

Once you have booked your session, you will also be asked to email any further information and images or videos to the designer before the session. It is best if this is done before the session, to ensure that your designer can really visualise the garden and the session is as productive as possible for you. 

We use Google Meet for the video calls which is easy to use and does not require any software or downloads.

If you would like to give a quick tour of the garden during the meeting on your phone or iPad this is of course very doable – please ensure that the wifi extends to the garden or your data connection is stable.

We can be as focused (for example, discussing a specific area of your garden) or as broad as you wish, but we always look to get through everything on your list in the allocated 45 minutes.

Our designers are very used to answering queries on site, often in time-pressured situations, so we hope that we can cover as much or as little detail as needed.

You will receive a handy Inspire Pack which will be tailored to you and based on your session with one of our designers. The Inspire Pack will cover what was discussed, as well as handy tips, advice and actionable ways in which you can make changes to your outdoor space.

The Inspire pack can include but isn’t limited to plant suggestions, hard landscaping ideas such as paving suggestions, fence colours, ideas for improving the space – either connecting areas or improving the useability of the space, tree specifications or pot and planter recommendations.

From the date of your Inspire Session, your designer will aim to send you your pack within 5 working days.
