What plants to expect in your Classic collection
Hydrangea ‘Little Lime’
This lovely new hydrangea
packs a real punch. It has
strong stems that support
the weight of the conical,
lime green flowers, which
fade to cream and then
blush-pink in autumn.
Sarcococca confusa
A dense, winter-flowering
evergreen shrub, bearing
sweetly scented, pure
white blooms, in contrast
with dark green leaves. It’s
extremely tolerant of shade
and beautiful to the eye.
Veronicastrum virginicum ‘Album’
Slender spires of white flowers from July to August above whorls of deep green leaves. This elegant perennial has self-supporting flowers making it ideal for adding height to a sunny or partially shady border.
Hakonechloa macra
An eye-catching ornamental grass, forming clumps of elegant arching foliage throughout the season. It is happy in sun & shade and is stunning when combined with ferns.
Heuchera ‘White Cloud’
This elegant Heuchera has mottled green and white leaves. In summer, clouds of pretty white flowers appear on tall stems. Really striking but refined.
Geranium ‘Kashmir White’
A compact herbaceous perennial to 70cm tall, with pale green basal leaves 10-20cm wide, deeply divided with lobed segments, and pure white, saucer-shaped flowers 2.5-3cm wide, in late spring and early summer.
Vinca minor ‘Alba’
A compact evergreen which happily carpets the soil with lance-shaped, dark green leaves - perfect ground cover for a shady spot. Its elegant white flowers bring welcome lightness.
Pittosporum ten ‘Golfball’
Forming a neat, rounded
mound, this evergreen
shrub is ideal for adding
structure and architectural
interest to the planting
scheme. The foliage is a
fresh mint green.
Gaura ‘Karalee White’
A versatile plant of soft, grey-green foliage that contrasts beautifully with its delicate star-shaped, white flowers that flourish through summer and into autumn.
Stipa tenuissima
Sometimes known as ‘Angel Hair’, this elegant grass creates dense tufts of soft- looking, fine leaves that billow in the slightest breeze. Providing year round interest, it’s a reliable and durable grass.
Dryopteris ethyrosora ‘Brilliance’
Delicate in appearance, but a hardy survivor in nature, The Japanese Shield Fern is a showstopping specimen that provides a lot of seasonal interest all year round.
Anemone ‘Honorine Jobert’
A graceful, late-flowering perennial with pure white, yellow-centred blooms on tall, slender stems. Thriving in sun or partial shade, it adds elegance to borders from late summer into autumn.
