What plants to expect in your Winter Outdoor Starter Collection
Sarcococca confusa
A dense, winter-flowering evergreen shrub, bearing sweetly scented, pure white blooms, in contrast with dark green leaves. It’s extremely tolerant of shade and beautiful to the eye.
Dryopteris ethyrosora ‘Brilliance’
Delicate in appearance, but a hardy survivor in nature, The Japanese Shield Fern is a showstopping specimen that provides a lot of seasonal interest all year round.
Heuchera ‘Midnight Rose’
The purple-black foliage with spots of pink of this mainly evergreen form has a lustrous sheen, and as the season progresses, its colour becomes even more intense. Creamy ivory white flowers appear in early summer.
Helleborus niger ‘Christmas Carol’
This early-flowering hellebore will often produce its large, glowing white flowers in time for the Christmas festivities – and it will usually continue to bloom until early spring. Integral to our winter displays.
Cyclamen ‘Alba’
A stunning winter flowering perennial with delicate, bright white flowers and waxy, multi-toned green leaves. An integral plant for our indoor and outdoor Winter collections.
Skimmia ‘Kew Green’
A compact, dome-shaped evergreen shrub, with dense clusters of fragrant, creamy-white flowers which open over several weeks in late winter and spring. Brilliant in pots.
