Simple process, professionally done.

We know our approach isn’t the traditional way to create a beautiful garden… but Dig exists because we all learned first-hand how time-consuming and difficult creating a beautiful outdoor space can be. That’s why we’ve tried to simplify the process… without cutting corners! Our design team is led by award-winning garden designer Alex Hollingsworth, and all of our gardens have been created to fit neatly in your space. We also work with a selected network of trusted plant growers and suppliers and, because we give you all of the support and instruction you need, we ensure that your Dig garden is of high quality and, with care, will flourish.

Good for you.
Good for the planet.

We’re committed to ensuring that the choices you make for your garden are positive ones for our planet. It’s why we are helping protect the environment by always supplying peat-free compost, improving urban biodiversity by helping people create gardens full of horticultural variety, and providing safe habitats for pollinators and other wildlife. We believe each garden planted is a step in the right direction for our planet’s wellbeing. We also contribute 1% of all revenue to removing CO2 from the atmosphere through Stripe Climate.

Meet the team

Dig was founded in 2021 by Henry, Ed, Ben and Alex. We’re four friends with varying levels of gardening expertise – from professional, to willing and enthusiastic. What unites us is a shared belief that gardening should be accessible, easy and enjoyable. We realised that many people don’t know where to begin when it comes to gardening so we created Dig to help change that, and to kickstart people’s interest; we want to help people create a beautiful outdoor space, no matter their level of knowledge. And if we can help nature and increase biodiversity while we’re at it, so much the better.
