What plants to expect in your Adventure starter collection

Please note the plants below cover both sun & shade options – the final plants you receive may vary a little depending on season and availability, but without ever impacting the final result!

Pennisetum ‘Fairy Tails’

Producing soft pink to
near-white flowers, which
turn biscuit shades over a
long season from
midsummer. This lovely
grass is soft to the touch.

Nepeta ‘Walkers Low’

Deep violet to lilac-blue summer flowers and aromatic mid-green leaves. This violet-lilac catmint makes an excellent, long-flowering plant for a sunny border.

Gaura ‘Siskiyou Pink’

A versatile plant of soft, grey-green foliage that contrasts beautifully with its delicate star-shaped, pink flowers that flourish through summer and into autumn.

Erigeron karvinskianus

Masses of small daisies - emerging white then turning pink with yellow centres - give this plant a lovely two-tone effect. Ideal for spilling onto pathways or cascading over a raised bed.

Kniphofia ‘Mango Popsicle’

A compact perennial forming stiff spikes of tubular deep-orange red flowers that fade to tangerine as they age over a few weeks.

Fragaria vesca

A spreading perennial strawberry plant with sharply toothed, bright green leaves and dark red fruits appearing in summer. Great for birds and for the kitchen!

Carex testacea

Bearing slim arching leaves, which start out olive green and become warm copper-bronze with maturity. This particularly striking grass also creates small, brown flower spikes in summer.

Sanguisorba ‘Pink Tanna’

In midsummer, slender stems bear densely packed, deep pink bottlebrush-like blooms, each with prominent pale pink stamens. These flowers have a gently swaying elegance as they catch the breeze.

Geranium ‘Rozanne’

This Geranium has masses of blue-purple saucer shaped flowers that are held above mounds divided mid-green foliage. A very reliable plant that spreads well and makes great ground cover.

Heuchera ‘Fire Chief’

This elegant Heuchera has deep red and burgundy wine foliage leaves. In summer, clouds of pretty white flowers appear on tall dark stems. Really striking but refined.

Echinacea purpurea

Large daisy-like flowerheads appear on upright, rigid stems for several months from midsummer. Butterflies and later birds will be attracted to them making this perennial a lovely addition.
