What plants to expect in your Glow Up collection
Nepeta ‘Walkers Low’
Deep violet to lilac-blue summer flowers and aromatic mid-green leaves. This violet-lilac catmint makes an excellent, long-flowering plant for a sunny border.
Salvia nemerosa ‘Caradonna’
Slender spires of intense violet-blue flowers from July to September above clumps of wrinkled, mid-green leaves. This compact form of salvia is perfect for adding a splash of colour and height to a flower bed.
Geum ‘Totally Tangerine’
This adaptable perennial is a sterile cultivar, so it will produce an abundance of apricot-orange flowers over a prolonged period throughout summer and into autumn.
Geranium ‘Rozanne’
This Geranium has masses of blue-purple saucer shaped flowers that are held above mounds divided mid-green foliage. A very reliable plant that spreads well and makes great ground cover.
Echinacea purpurea
Large daisy-like flowerheads appear on upright, rigid stems for several months from midsummer. Butterflies and later birds will be attracted to them making this perennial a lovely addition.
Astrantia ‘Claret’
The staple of any Cottage garden, this Astrantia has sumptuous red-purple, pincushion flowers with pink-purple tips, crowded together in a dome-shaped flower cluster. Stunning.
Phlox paniculata
A classic, cottage garden favourite with clusters of fragrant, nectar-rich flowers in summer. Loved by pollinators, it thrives in sun or partial shade and adds vibrant colour to borders.
Thalictrum delavayi
Fluffy sprays of pink-white flowers on upright, green stems rise above clumps of fern-like, grey-green leaves. This light and airy perennial is perfect towards the back of a border.
Cirsium rivulare
An ornamental thistle, bearing incredible, deep purple thistles on elegant, long, leafless stems, in contrast with spiny, dark green foliage. Stunning and long-lasting.
