What plants to expect in your Evergreen collection

Please note the plants below cover both sun & shade options – the final plants you receive may vary a little depending on season and availability, but without ever impacting the final result!

Pittosporum tobira ‘Nanum’

An attractive tender evergreen shrub grown for its attractive green foliage and sweetly scented, creamy white flowers. It has more of a compact growth habit than other pittosporums.

Libertia chilensis

A striking perennial, bearing slender, upright stems of white flowers above sword-shaped foliage. Its airy habit makes it perfect for growing in Classic display or a gravel garden, particularly among other airy plants.

Heuchera ‘Silver Scrolls’

The handsomely lobed leaves of this low-growing semi-evergreen perennial are a deep burgundy,
with the tops of the
leaves are generously dusted in silver, creating quite a distinctive two
tone effect.

Dryopteris ethyrosora ‘Brilliance’

Delicate in appearance, but a hardy survivor in nature, The Japanese Shield Fern is a showstopping specimen that provides a lot of seasonal interest all year round.

Carex testacea

Bearing slim arching leaves, which start out olive green and become warm copper-bronze with maturity. This particularly striking grass also creates small, brown flower spikes in summer.

Sarcococca confusa

A dense, winter-flowering evergreen shrub, bearing sweetly scented, pure white blooms, in contrast with dark green leaves. It’s extremely tolerant of shade and beautiful to the eye.

Pachysandra terminalis ‘Green carpet’

A dense, low-lying shrub perfect for shady gardens. This dwarf plant spreads slowly and gracefully providing a rich green carpet for a layer of verdant foliage all year round.

Liriope muscari

A versatile plant, its dark green, blade-like leaves provide year-round interest and in autumn vibrant, long-lasting wands of deep violet flowers rise above the foliage.

Rosmarinus ‘Miss Jessop’s Upright’

Aromatic, dark green, narrow leaves provide interest throughout the year. From mid-spring to early summer, lilac-blue to white flowers appear towards the ends of the stems.

Heuchera ‘Obsidian’

The maroon-black foliage of this mainly evergreen form has a lustrous sheen, and as the season progresses, its colour becomes even more intense. Creamy white flowers appear in early summer.

Hebe rakaiensis

One of the most popular hebes, this has clusters of large, white flowers in early and mid-summer and glossy, fresh, green leaves. This tough, rounded, evergreen shrub forms a neat hummock and adds great structure.
