What plants to expect in your Herb collection
Rosmarinus ‘Miss Jessop’s Upright’
Aromatic, dark green, narrow leaves provide interest throughout the year. From mid-spring to early summer, lilac-blue to white flowers appear towards the ends of the stems.
Thymus ‘Silver Queen’
A bushy, compact evergreen shrub with a memorable fragrance that makes it a very versatile herb to cook with. Pretty flowers cover it in early summer.
Origanum vulgare
More commonly know as Oregano, this hardy perennial herb with aromatic leaves is essential in Mediterranean cooking. It thrives in full sun, well-drained soil, and adds bold flavour to pizzas, pasta, and sauces.
Helichrysum italicum
The Curry Plant is a fragrant herb with silvery-grey leaves and a warm, curry-like scent. Used sparingly in cooking, it adds a subtle, savoury flavour to meats and sauces. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soil.
Melissa officinalis
Lemon Balm is a fragrant herb with citrus-scented leaves, often used in teas, salads, and desserts. It thrives in sun or partial shade and well-drained soil, attracting pollinators and offering calming properties.

Flat-leaf Parsley is a robust, aromatic herb with a fresh, slightly peppery flavour, essential in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking. It thrives in sun or partial shade and well-drained soil, perfect for garnishes, sauces, and salads.
